What Bright Steps is — and isn't
We want to be really clear about what you can expect from us.
Bright Steps IS
- A warm, plain-English support platform for SEND families, young people, teachers and professionals
- A library of practical guides, activities, printables and visual tools
- A kind, moderated community for parents, carers and pros to share what's working
- A space built with autistic and SEND voices — designed to feel calm and accessible
- Free to join, with optional premium tools later
Bright Steps is NOT
- A medical, clinical or diagnostic service — please speak to your GP, CAMHS or therapist
- A legal advice service — for EHCP appeals, tribunals or PIP disputes, get qualified advice
- An emergency or crisis service — in the UK call 999 or 111 for urgent help
- A replacement for SENCOs, advocates or your local authority's SEND team
- A diagnosis or a label — every child and adult is different
