By using Bright Steps you agree to these simple, plain-English terms. They exist to keep our community kind, safe and supportive.

1. Who Bright Steps is for

Bright Steps is a supportive home for SEND families, young people, teachers and professionals. We are not a clinical, medical, legal or emergency service.

2. Be kind

Posts, comments, messages and replies must be respectful. Bullying, abuse, discrimination, harassment, hate speech and sharing private information about others are not allowed and may result in removal of content or accounts.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for content shared from your account. Please don't share accounts with people who haven't agreed to these terms.

4. Content you share

You keep ownership of anything you post. By sharing it on Bright Steps you give us permission to display it inside the platform. Don't share content you don't have the right to share.

5. Moderation

Our team may remove content, hide posts or pause accounts that breach these terms or our Safeguarding policy.

6. No professional advice

Information on Bright Steps is for general support and learning only. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified doctor, therapist, teacher or specialist — see our Disclaimer.

7. Changes

We may update these terms to keep them accurate. Significant changes will be highlighted inside the app.
